MagdalanCV ("we", "us") provides professional CV writing, cover letter and LinkedIn profile writing services. By placing an order you agree to these terms.
Payment is taken securely by card at checkout, processed by Stripe. Work begins, and the delivery timeframe starts, once payment is received and you have completed the order questionnaire.
Standard delivery is 3 working days from questionnaire completion. Express delivery, where purchased, is 24 hours from questionnaire completion. Delivery depends on you providing the information requested in the order questionnaire; delays in providing information may extend delivery accordingly.
Each CV order includes one round of revisions, requested within 14 days of delivery. Revisions cover changes to the document we produced; a change of target industry or role constitutes a new brief.
The 50% student and job-seeker discount is offered on trust and applies to the Professional CV base price only. The free cover letter applies only when a Professional CV and LinkedIn makeover are purchased together in a single order.
You confirm the information you provide (employment history, qualifications, accomplishments) is truthful and accurate. We write from what you give us; we do not verify it and accept no liability for inaccuracies originating from information you supplied.
A professionally written CV improves your presentation to employers, but we cannot and do not guarantee interviews, offers or employment outcomes.
On full payment, the finished documents belong to you. Our working methods, templates and processes remain ours.
Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of England and Wales, which governs these terms.
When you place an order, request a free CV review or contact us, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number (if given), your questionnaire answers, and any documents you upload — which, by their nature, contain personal career information.
We use your information solely to deliver the service you requested: writing your documents, providing your free CV review, and responding to your messages. We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties except where required to deliver the service or by law. Form submissions are processed and stored by our website host (Netlify) to reach us; card payments are processed by Stripe, and we never see or store your card details.
We keep order information for as long as needed to deliver the service and meet legal record-keeping obligations. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@magdalancv.co.uk.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete and port your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@magdalancv.co.uk. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
If you cancel before we have started work on your documents (i.e. before or shortly after completing your questionnaire), you receive a full refund.
Once writing has started, refunds are considered case by case, reflecting the work completed. Because these are personalised, made-to-order documents, the standard 14-day distance-selling cancellation right does not apply once you have consented to work beginning within that period.
Tell us first — every order includes a revision round so we can fix anything that misses the mark. If, after revisions, the delivered work genuinely fails to reflect your brief, contact us and we will put it right or agree a fair partial or full refund.
If we miss a paid 24-hour express deadline for reasons within our control, the £30 express fee is refunded automatically.
This website is designed to run with minimal tracking. We use no advertising or third-party analytics cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and forms are processed by our host (Netlify); these providers may receive standard technical information (such as your IP address) as part of serving those requests.
